Privacy Policy
TensorSwing collects the little it needs to run your account and deliver the notifications and emails you enable. It does not track you, does not use advertising or third-party analytics, and does not sell or share your personal information. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, the legal bases for it, and the rights you have.
No ad tracking · No third-party analytics · No data sold or shared · No brokerage connection
01 Who we are
ISKHAK LLC, d/b/a SalemWise Solutions, a New Jersey (USA) limited liability company operating the TensorSwing app ("we", "us"), is the controller of the personal information described here. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].
02 Information you give us
When you create an account we store your email address and a one-way hash of your password — we never store the password itself. You may add a display name. If you use Sign in with Apple, we store the account identifier Apple provides instead of a password; if Apple relays a private (proxy) email address, that is what we hold.
03 Information you create in the app
To provide the features you turn on, we store the choices you make: the watchlist of tickers you follow, the models you follow, any price alerts you set — including the tickers and thresholds you choose — your notification and email preferences (weekly publish and resolution, service notices, watched-name and followed-model alerts, price-move and 52-week alerts, the weekly digest email — on by default — and marketing email — off by default), and any positions you enter manually. This is used only to run those features for you.
04 Device and subscription information
If you enable notifications, we store a push token from Apple so we can deliver the alerts you've turned on. The token is held on our server only while notifications are registered there; when you sign out, we delete that server-side registration. The token itself stays cached on your device across sign-out by design, so that turning notifications back on is instant — once you've signed out, it no longer represents an active registration with us. A price alert's push payload carries the ticker and the threshold you set, so that content can appear on your lock screen unless notification previews are restricted in your iOS Settings.
When you subscribe, Apple provides us a subscription status and transaction identifier so we can unlock your tier, and we attach a randomly generated account identifier to that App Store transaction so Apple's record of it can be matched back to your account — we never receive your card number or payment details; Apple processes payment. We also hold short-lived, hashed session and verification tokens to keep you signed in and to confirm your email or reset your password.
05 Data that stays on your device
Some information never leaves your device. TensorSwing keeps a local, on-device cache of market data and the free tier's current pick, which is wiped when you sign out. Your acceptance of the app's risk disclosure and your display preferences are also stored only on your device. The push token described in Section 4 is likewise cached on your device, even after you sign out.
06 What we do not collect
- No advertising identifiers and no cross-app or cross-site tracking (the app does not use App Tracking Transparency tracking).
- No third-party analytics, advertising, or marketing SDKs in the app.
- No brokerage connection, no trade data, and no access to your financial accounts.
- No precise location, contacts, photos, health data, or device address book.
07 Why we use it, and our legal bases
We use your information to operate and secure your account, unlock your subscription tier, deliver the notifications you asked for, send account emails such as verification and password reset, and respond to your requests. Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are:
- Performance of a contract — to give you an account, the features you enable, the subscription you bought, and the weekly digest email, which is on by default and which you can turn off at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to keep the service secure and prevent abuse, balanced against your rights.
- Consent — for push notifications and for marketing email, which you can withdraw or turn off at any time (push in your device settings, marketing in the app).
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.
We do not use your information for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell or rent it.
08 Who processes data for us
We share the minimum necessary with a small set of service providers who act on our behalf under contract:
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store subscription processing, and the Apple Push Notification service.
- Our email provider — to deliver verification and password-reset messages.
We do not share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers. Where the law requires it, we may disclose information in response to a valid legal request or to protect our rights and users.
09 International transfers
We and our providers may process your information in countries other than your own. Where personal information is transferred out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
10 Server logs and backups
Our servers write transient access logs — including IP addresses — to process output for operational and security purposes, such as diagnosing problems and detecting abuse. These logs are not written to our database and rotate away over time. We also keep nightly backups of our database, retained for 14 generations; when data is deleted, it leaves these backups only as they rotate out, a process that takes roughly two weeks.
11 Retention and deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account from within the app, or by contacting us at [email protected]; deletion removes your personal data from our live systems immediately, and from our backups as they rotate out (see Section 10 — up to 14 nightly generations, roughly two weeks). Any subscription is managed and cancelled separately through Apple. We may retain limited records where the law requires, or as needed to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
12 Feedback email
If you use "Send Feedback" in the app, it opens your own mail app with a message pre-filled with your app version, iOS version, and device model, and a screenshot only if you choose to attach one. The message is sent from your own mail account to [email protected]; we receive whatever your mail app sends.
13 Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, contact [email protected]; we will respond as required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising a right. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
14 California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your personal information (as those terms are defined under California law) and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of; we also honor Global Privacy Control signals. The categories we collect are identifiers (such as email), account credentials, and the app preferences described above, used for the business purposes in Section 7. To exercise a right, contact [email protected].
15 Security
Passwords are stored only as salted scrypt hashes, session and verification codes are stored as keyed hashes, and traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we design to hold as little sensitive data as possible.
16 Children
TensorSwing is not directed to children and is intended for users 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
17 Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the app.
